Closure of Signing Social
It is with much regret to inform you that Signing Social will no longer continue for the foreseeable future. The reason for this is that, as there are now increased demands on the JDA’s resources, it is necessary to focus on providing additional vital services for Deaf people and I will be involved in this area. The JDA will still continue to arrange practice evenings for BSL Level 1 and 2 just before the exams next year. Thank you very much for your interest and support in attending Signing Social, which has been running for nearly 9 years! It has been a real pleasure to meet you at the Signing Social and hope that you all benefited from the group’s activities. All the very best,
