Liz Seaton lost her hearing in her left ear in 2001 and attends lip reading classes at the JDA every week. She is an avid reader and enjoys socialising.

Liz chairs the Book Club, which started in 2009. It has since been a source of great enjoyment and interest for those who take part. We are keen to bring newcomers to the Book Club and look forward to welcoming you.

The book club takes place once a month at the JDA.  

Reading enthusiasts discuss a book chosen by the group. Tastes range from Alan Bennett to Alan Titchmarsh so there is something for everyone! Participants share their views in a relaxed environment created with the needs of hard of hearing and deaf people in mind.

The cost of each session will be £5.
