The JDA offers a range of support services for members.

Membership of the Jewish Deaf Association is restricted to people who are:

• Deaf (immersed in Deaf culture – whether they communicate using sign language or not)
• Deafblind.

Members’ exclusive benefits are:

• Free support services five days a week, to help with personal matters
• Free interpreting at important appointments
• Free accompaniment to appointments
• Free arranging practical help at home
• Free minibus and taxi transport to Day Centre for people who can’t travel independently.
• Free communicator/guide support for Deafblind members

• Free signed funerals & synagogue services.

• Computer training courses
• Day Centre with activities, outings, talks and “At Your Service”
