The Chat Room

The Chat Room is the JDA's hot venue, boasting contemporary style funky décor, comfortable sofas and chairs and the brightest pool table in town!

Tucked away all on its own, in the roof of the JDA community centre, the room is completely self-contained with vending machines serving snacks, cold drinks and delicious coffee, wide screen television, DVD player, X-Box and state of the art Hi-Fi. Just the place to relax with friends!

There is also a bank of computers available for use in the Internet café with printing facilities. Here, computer skills classes take place twice a week - taught in British Sign Language by a Deaf tutor.

The Chat Room opened in December 2002 and will host various activities and events. Click here for latest news and information
