Making a donation to the JDA in your will
Legacies are a vital source of income. Many people find it difficult to think about what will happen when they die or are unable to give significant sums of money to the JDA during their lifetime. Frequently, however, our friends would like their name and memory associated with the caring work undertaken by us once they have passed away.
One of the most important things that you can do is to ensure that you have an up-to-date will. This need not be either a complicated or expensive process. The reality is that making a will is simple and easy to arrange. What is more, gifts to charity are Inheritance Tax free. Therefore, leaving a gift to the JDA could consequently reduce the tax payable on your estate.
Please don’t delay ... make your will today.
To include a legacy to the JDA in your will, we can provide you with a form to assign either a Pecuniary or a Residuary bequest to the JDA. This form can be included when making or amending a will or can be attached as a codicil to an existing will.
